Dr.Zia Carrim has been very kind and took a lot of care and attention in treating my mother's retinal detachment through a vitrectomy surgery. What I liked the most about Dr.Zia Carrim was his kind personality and engagement with the patient. He took all the time and efforts needed to explain the situation and was always very transparent in his approach. Although my mother is a cardiac patient and her situation looked very complicated, Dr.Carrim analysed the best possible surgical route and successfully operated her retinal detachment his first attempt. His team was also very dedicated and kind during the pre and post operation visits. Their standard procedure to have a second OCT scan before the surgery also highly paid off as a very particular situation arose in my mother's case which shed light on new information and altered the surgical route in the last moment. It was a real pleasure to work with Dr.Zia Carrim and his team. I would highly recommend him to any patient requiring expert treatment in his field of expertise for he champions his arena.

Dr Carrim took a lot of his time to explain in great detail the operation to be performed on both my eyes. He also clearly explained the choices I had between distant view and intermediate view (40cm to 3m). I had decided I would not mind wearing reading glasses so close clear view was not an option. Dr Carrim thereby communicated great trust to my wife and myself and it is without the least preoccupation that I have put my eyes in his capable hands.

My first experience with The Eye Clinic has been very fruitful and am grateful to Dr Carrim for having performed my retina and cataract surgeries very successfully. I decided to get my surgeries done there because The Eye Clinic is using the latest technology and equipment for its eye operations. For my case, 27-G vitrectomy was done with the result that my postoperative recuperation was quicker and almost painless. Hats off to Dr Carrim and his team. All the best for his future and hope he will always be on the lookout for latest technology with less pain and quicker recovery time.
